Let VPNet become your "Virtual" IT Department.
With increasing reliance on IT systems, it is vital that downtime is minimised. As a natural
extension of our managed wide area network service, we can now extend management right down to
the desktop.
We provide you with a virtual IT Helpdesk in office hours with fault reporting out of hours.
From our management centre, we can access and control any PC on your network remotely (with your
permission) to resolve any issues. If necessary, we will have an engineer to site within 24 hours
for faults and issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
As part of the service, once every month, we will log in remotely and perform the following
services, irrespective of any faults reported in the interim period:
- Microsoft Windows (or other OS) upgrades
- Internet Explorer upgrades
- Microsoft Office upgrades
- Anti-virus upgrades
- Directory audit
- Disc clean-up and de-fragmentation
- Intrusion detection - analysis and rectification of internal and external malicious or naïve behaviour
- Software license auditing
- Server task balancing
- Optimisation and update of any back-up services
